Tim - Night Shift Supervisor

Having previously worked for Brixham Trawler Agents earlier in his career, Tim returned to the business in 2023 as one of our Night Shift Supervisors.

He plays an important role in preparing and setting up the market each afternoon ahead of the busy night shift, helping operations run smoothly from the start.

Tim also supervises the early starters on the night shift, bringing valuable experience and leadership to the team.

These photos were taken on Monday afternoon as the Jazzy B landed some top-quality pot-caught octopus.

The next few days are shaping up to be BIG markets, especially Friday, ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

We should have a rich selection of the finest local seafood available for our buyers ⏰

This year marks 20 years of working with Marel! ⚙️🐟

The Marel team visited us last week for their annual check-in on the large graders, scales and grading software they supply here at Brixham Fish Market.

Their equipment plays a vital role in helping us grade the fish coming through the market - including our 11-gate Marel grading systems, which can grade around 200 fish per minute and up to 1 tonne of Dover Sole an hour!

A huge thank you to Marel for their continued support and excellent service over the past two decades ⚖️👏

Some sensational Turbot graced our market this morning! 🔥👑🐟

This particular fish was caught by the Sophie Jane and sold to London Shell Co on our auction📍

It’ll be enjoyed over the weekend.

This Thursday, the Fishing for Better Health clinic returns to brixham, thanks to our partners from Fishermen's Mission, Compass House Medical Centres and Brixham Fish Market, who will be offering local fishermen FREE and CONFIDENTIAL health services and advice on the quayside from 09:00am - 12:00 noon.

No appointments are necessary! Just head down to the Brixham Trawler Agents Office, TQ5 8AW and find out how our team can help you!
