8 ingredients you MUST avoid when choosing your spf, if you prioritise your health!☀️✨🧘‍♀️

1. OXYBENZONE - an endocrine disruptor that is known to interfere with hormones such as estrogen and testosterone. It is also linked to coral reef damage.

2. HOMOSALATE - accumulates in the body faster than it can be broken down which disrupts hormone function and produces toxic breakdown compounds over time.

3. OCTISALATE - increases the pe*******on of other chemicals into the bloodstream.

4. OCTOCRYLENE - it degrades into benzophenone, a compound commonly associated with cancer in laboratory studies.

Congrats to our girl Kat! Her functional health certification has come through! You may recognise her in the shop on tuesdays and thursdays giving out lots of health advice, she is an invaluable part of our community and I am sure will help so many people with her vast amount of knowledge and helping others get to the root causes of their issues - it’s what we’re all about! She is a very valued member of our Community Benefit Society and is supporting us to help our community thrive ❤️🙏 she is working on many projects for our community including click and connect coffees in Westbird and Jungle Dancing events at the Royal Bath Hotel! As we both talk about a lot medicine is not just in our food and supplements, but its connection, movement, fun and joy! 🥰 she brings all the joy to our shop, to Westbourne and to our community ❤️ we love you Kat!
