HUMP GROUP HUMP GROUP (est. 2015) specialises in camel milk products, Palestinian Medjool dates, coffee beans and camel milk tea (for events and catering).

HUMP GROUP was founded in 2015 as a community-oriented organisation to educate and raise the awareness of Bedouin (Nomadic) traditions to the wider community. We specialise in camel milk products, Palestinian Medjool dates and coffee beans by seeking to build community bridges through the wisdom of Bedouins. HUMP GROUP is also an active volunteer of various charitable causes that support individua

ls with hearing impairments and learning disabilities. Our founder initially visited the United Arab Emirates in 2004 where he discovered the culture and history of camels. He then visited a camel farm in 2005 in Qatar and further connected with prominent families in Saudi Arabia and throughout the region. During the years he quickly realised the importance of camels, given their striking features and intelligence. He became popular with the local Bedouins and adopted the nickname 'Camel Sheikh'. It was with this passion and attachment which led to the creation of HUMP GROUP to initially promote and distribute camel dairy products, Palestinian Medjool dates and coffee beans to all members of the community, with a view to expand into other service areas in the future. We are always searching for collaborative opportunities with manufacturers of quality camel dairy (including non-dairy) products and partnerships with companies and organisations that focus on the well-being of our community.

Thank you to the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Zafar Iqbal MBE for visiting Kashmir Institute of Special Education (KISE, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir) (KISE) during his official visit to Azad Kashmir. During his visit, he met with Dr Amjad Ansari, Director of KISE and ex Honorary Personal Physician to the Prime Minister of Azad and Jammu Kashmir, the management and students.

We visited the UK’s first Halal and Tayyib ethical farm - Willowbrook Farm 🇬🇧🐑 - and what we discovered might change how you think about Halal meat.

With and (Qurbani) approaching, this visit felt more important than ever. Where does our meat really come from? And are animals truly raised with care, dignity, and responsibility?

At Willowbrook Farm, we explored the meaning of Tayyib - not just Halal, but pure, ethical and humane. From animal welfare to sustainable farming, this was a powerful and eye-opening experience.

We Tried An Award-winning Pakistani Restaurant In The UK - Was It Worth It?!

In this Desi Vivids halal food review, We head to a Pakistani - Kashmiri award winning halal Street Food Restaurant to try their popular XL tawa mix grill with karahi dishes — but this one’s different.

Tried one of the most talked-about katlama spots in the UK after loads of you recommended it, so I had to see if it really lives up to the hype!

Sheeren Mahal Balti has been serving up delicious food since 1985 in Walsall, with the owners originally having worked at Sheereen Kadah on Moseley Road in Birmingham, which opened in 1962 - a bit of UK curry history.
