Due to an extended period of ill health, we have made the difficult decision to close the farm shop for the next couple of months.

While the shop itself is closed, all fresh produce has been moved to the honesty shop, which remains open as usual. We’d be very grateful for your continued support there during this time.

Today, we will be open normal hours (9am-6pm) if you need something cooling - we have ice cold beers, ice cream and fresh beef burgers, fresh from the dairy…plus all the other usual delights…

Nick is off today, trying to catch up with a runaway double Gloucester at the annual Coopers Hill cheese rolling competition…wish him luck!

But Hannah will be on hand to man the shop, along with some of our regular volunteers..

Lovely to see so many folk visiting this shop this afternoon. Little sleepy this morning but we are open till 6pm - with ice cream, fresh steaks and a fridge packed with ice cold beers… ❤️😴

A little update from us 🌿

We’re planning a trial opening tomorrow as we begin easing back into our regular schedule — it will also be our first Thursday opening.

Opening hours this weekend are currently planned as:

Thursday–Saturday: 9am–6pm
Sunday: 10am–4pm
Bank Holiday Monday: 10am–4pm (TBC depending on stock levels)

Open Mic is also going ahead tomorrow evening as planned — details and booking via our website.

A quick update from us — the farm shop will unfortunately be closed this weekend.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience to those planning to visit, and we’ll share an update on reopening very soon.

Our honesty box will remain open throughout the weekend for essentials.

Importantly, the Oxfordshire Art Weeks exhibition at Peach Barn will still be going ahead upstairs as planned. Please do still come along to support the artists and enjoy the exhibition.

Well that was busiest morning we've ever had...thank you to all our regulars and lots of new faces for popping by! We're open til 6pm and normal hours this weekend (10am-6pm) but won't be open on Monday.

We have plenty of wild venison, plus brand new pork pies & sausage rolls, a new wine fridge with some refreshing rosés in, a fantastic selection of Forge house bakery pastries, plus freshly-harvested veg and salads straight from the farm, as well as the most delicious spring milk straight from the dairy!

Hope to see you at some point over the weekend - if not, we wish you a very happy bank holiday weekend! We also are joined this weekend by some of the farm's organic beef herd, grazing in the overflow carparking field.

Look what's in stock today.... we've got fresh organic pork from Eastleach Downs Organic Farm, the first pickings of fresh asparagus from North Aston Organics, plus sustainably-produced British lumpwood charcoal from Slate Hill Charcoal Co.

We're also stocking a fresh batch of the ultra-seasonal Nettle & Ginger ice cream from North Aston Farms, plenty of oven-ready beef, chicken and venison pies and later today we'll be taking our first delivery of sausage rolls and pork pies from SaltPig Curing Company - which I'm very excited about!

Everything you need for a BBQ this weekend, you'll find at the shop - open 10am-6pm Fri, Sat and Sunday...

Charcuterie from SaltPig Curing Company, smoked fish from Bibury Trout Farm, fresh organic milk, kefir & ice cream from North Aston Farms, fruit & veg from North Aston Organics, sourdough & pastries from Forge house bakery, preserves from Ma'amalady, venison from Wild Venison & Game, black pudding from The Fruit Pig Company, beers from Earth Ale Brewery, plus much much more...

We're open 10am-6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the shop is accessible from both ends of the village (despite signs stating otherwise!).
