The polytunnel is starting to get busier now! Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, spinach, parsley and lettuces are growing nicely, alongside some marigolds to help keep the unhelpful bugs away! Last year's spring onions are still waiting to be picked, though we already have a load chopped and ready in the freezer!

We will have a pair of 6-month old wethers (castrated males) available in October/November once they have weaned naturally.

They are both from pedigree lines of Royal Golden Guernsey goats and are lovely colours. They are very active and playful, and are very friendly due to regular handling.

They have both been disbudded. They are from a CAE-negative herd and will be fully vaccinated (Heptavac).

We would ideally like them to go to the same home.

They will be available for collection in North Yorkshire (YO62 4DX).

Had a great day today doing a cheese-making course at Laceys Cheese. Got to sample lots of yummy cheese during the day, and even bring some home to 'share'. Gelato was great too! Well recommend the course, and if you live locally, grab some of their cheese at local markets 😀
