Job Opening:
Store Assistant at Eastern European Grocery Store in Aarhus
Are you passionate about Eastern European cuisine and culture? Do you enjoy working in a customer-focused, multicultural environment? We are looking for a dedicated Store Assistant to join our Eastern European grocery store team in Aarhus!
Position: Store Assistant
Location: Aarhus
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and provide assistance with product recommendations
• Handle cash register operations and ensure smooth transactions
• Stock shelves and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-organized
• Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries of Eastern European products
• Provide excellent customer service to both local and international customers
• Help with in-store promotions and support daily store activities
Requirements:
• Interest in or knowledge of Eastern European food and traditions
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English (an Eastern European language is an asset)
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Positive, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts
• Clean criminal record
