Max is a 2-year-old Rottweiler who spent his early years living in a yard, neglected, but he’s ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. This smart, playful, and silly boy dreams of a warm home and a cozy bed.
Max walks well on a leash, gets along with other dogs (with proper introductions), and has a big personality—except when it comes to cats, who terrify him! He’s a lover of belly rubs, car rides, and soaking up all the affection he can get. While Max is great with kids, his size and enthusiasm might make him a better fit for families with older children.
Max has been in the shelter since October, and as much as everyone here adores him, it’s clear shelter life isn’t where he belongs. This big, bouncy boy needs a loving home where he can finally experience the care, comfort, and joy he deserves.
