Fireweed Food Co-op

We're a co-op spearheaded by community stakeholders to connect buyers and sellers of local food.

Fireweed Food Co-op is a community service co-op spearheaded by community stakeholders to connect buyers and sellers of local, sustainably produced food. In summer 2016, we started the weekly South Osborne Farmers' Market. We also run two indoor markets: our Holiday Market and Mothers and Others Day market. More recently, we launched our flagship food hub which is an aggregator and wholesale distributor of locally produced food. If you're interested in staying up to date on our activities and progress, you can visit our website and sign-up for our e-mail subscription list. If you're interested in supporting us, please consider becoming a member of our co-op!

We’re bringing back our community clothing swap! ✨

Bring your clothes, swap with your neighbours at the South Osborne Community Centre on Wednesday Oct 7, from 4-8PM.👕♻️ If you missed our previous clothing swap, or you participated last time but want to take part again, you won’t want to miss this!

A clothing swap is a free clothing exchange where you can bring your items and pick some out in return. This sustainable initiative cuts down on textile waste and recycles gently used items throughout the community.

🌱 Leftover clothing will be donated to a community organization!
