If you’re looking for something different to do on November 21st, CROSSFade is putting together a really cool night of live music and analogue beats at The Tipsy Toucan on Ottawa Street.

It’s a blended jam session featuring Allen Dennard on trumpet, DJ Candor on decks, and hosted by Donia El-Haddad — a mix of jazz, groove, and laid-back energy that’s perfect for a Friday night.

Having council meetings stay at the current 10am time slot has deterred a lot of working constituents from attending. It also becomes an issue for any councilor who holds a day job (hence why many councilors tend to be retirees). We should all have the right as tax payers and voters in this city to be able to attend council meetings.

A new survey is now live to gather feedback on when future City Council meetings should be scheduled and how you prefer to engage in local decision-making.

FORD CITY FLEA: NEW DATE, SUNDAY OCTOBER 26th

We've been following the weather very closely for this Sunday and it's not looking good. Due to a high chance of rain and wind for most of the day we'll be cancelling FLEA for this Sunday (19th) and moving it to the following Sunday, October 26th.
