As we edge closer to the end of February, I am here to ask everyone to check out The Wild Nest Market socials, give a follow if you will and save the date of March 7th for Erika’s Grand Opening!

This page will be shutting down end of February. I will be keeping my business email [email protected] for anyone who wishes to check in or stay in touch! (However I am not affiliated with The Wild Nest Market, so anything related to the business will need to be directed appropriately.)

I hope you all have the opportunity to meet Erika and check out the fresh, new look she has created! She also has lots of new products in! The lunches have started back up as well, so for my Soupies, there is soup! (And cookies too!)

Our community suffered a great loss today. Rick Dunham touched the lives of so many people in our community through the years as a great business man and an even greater family man.

My thoughts are with Deb, Sarah, Rebecca and their families during this difficult time. Also thinking of his many friends, his employees and his many customers.

It won’t quite be the same having supper at the pub without Rick coming by with his cheeky smile, sparkle in his eyes and always cracking a joke… he will be missed by very many.

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to reply to everyone at once- first, thank you all so much for the kind, loving words you posted and messaged, spoke when I have seen you out and texted. Really special ❤️ I have enjoyed reading each message!

Next- many people are checking in that I am okay! I am okay! I am great!! I am in school full time this term doing the fun, hands on part of school and with the hours of daily commuting, full time school, studying and practicing (in addition to keeping my family, pets and home running)- I am just recognizing my capabilities and doing my best to keep balance in my life.

I promise, I am doing well! (But thanks for your caring and thoughtful ways! Appreciated!)

I am also very excited for Erika, my friend and past employee, to have this opportunity to be a small business owner in our town, to get to create and build her own brand and also to meet and work with all of you! It can be very rewarding, uplifting, inspiring and connected. (Of course with the great comes the hard stuff and we all have that sometimes, and that’s okay!)

Here are the listed hours for The Wild Nest Market!

We’re in the shop this weekend painting, organizing, and getting everything ready! And as promised, we’re eager to open the doors this coming week for a short soft open! 🪺

Tuesday, January 27th: 10am–7pm
Wednesday, January 28th: 10am–7pm
Thursday, January 29th: 10am–7pm

Three days to come browse, grab your supplements, and say hi. Please don’t mind the chaos as we’re still settling in! 🤍 The kitchen and hot lunch will launch sometime in February, please stay tuned.

Our 💘 February 💘 hours are posted below, and we’ll continue adjusting as we notice trends and hear your important feedback. 📅

The day has finally come to share the News!

After 13 incredible years of creating, owning and operating Mosaic Market, I will close the door for the last time- but not for long!!!

With the love and support from my husband, children, parents, in laws and my family and friends I was able to make my dream a reality and now this business is aligning with the dreams of another hardworking, business woman.

Through much deliberatation and consideration I came to the conclusion that I was being pulled in too many directions with my most recent life journey and I needed to step away from the market.

Through great conversations, meet ups and local interests- this person has similar intentions for the business and many new, great ideas as well! With the profound friendships and relationships I have with my customers, I needed to be sure health and local food would still be available to all!

This woman fits the role well. She has experience working here at Mosaic Market, business experience and creates lovely bites in the kitchen! I look forward to being on the opposite side of the counter ordering my lunch!

There will be changes, but change can be great! Her energy and determination will be put to great use creating and building her very own small business in this special town.

I thank you all for your support, understanding and devotion to me and my business, from the bottom of my heart.

Mosaic Market- Health and Local Food opened quietly on April 8, 2013. With the support of family and friends, I wrote a dream on paper and it became a reality! 13 blessed years of having my very own market in our quaint little town. I have had the privilege of getting to know so many extraordinary people and becoming friends with many! From customers, staff members, product reps, delivery crews and many more- my life has been so full of love and support with Mosaic Market! We have shared great news, worries, tears of sorrow and tears of joy. I raised my kids up with all of you, and some of you raised yours alongside! This journey has been incredible and it could have never happened without all of you! There have been smooth seas, large hurdles and everything in between, yet together we made it! We worked together on events, fundraisers and art! We had fun and made memories! I wanted to share a few photos and my gratitude with you as I prepare to announce big news I have been waiting to share! You are welcome to share a memory too, while you wait for the big news! (Please don’t ask what it is- be patient and wait for it to come!) Stay tuned for more…

School is going great and the only thing I would change is the weather! Commuting on bad roads can be challenging! I am so thankful for this educational opportunity.

Update: Mosaic will be closed this week as I start my in person classes tomorrow in Halifax. I had hoped to have things sorted out by now, but sometimes things don’t go as planned.

I am working on the solution and I apologize for the inconvenience I am causing you. I also want to thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

I will update you the moment I have secured the plan! Thank you, see you soon!

Happy Holidays! I hope you all are having a lovely time with your family, friends and neighbours!

I am so grateful to have had the incredible experience of a Mexican Christmas! My family & I spent Christmas at a jungle resort! Some of the most lovely people took great care of us, we ate well, we slept well! We soaked up the hot sun, swam in the warm ocean and enjoyed the wildlife! Our Christmas Dinner with new friends was extraordinary! A very restful time for me after the hustle of exams, running a buisness and a home! I am thankful.

Mosaic Market will reopen in January.

I want to thank you so much for another incredible year of support! I want to thank you all a little extra this year as I was spread a little thin between home, work and school. I was not as present as usual, and I was often tired. So thank you for being so supportive and understanding. I truly appreciate that. Without you and your support, my small business just wouldn’t exist!

I studied a little too hard and caught myself a spicy seasonal flu virus! My intention was to open this week, but my body has other plans!
