Note
We are hiding all comments. The cruel ones and the sweet messages. It is sad when people attack or shut down the people who have written kind messages. It is sad when people do not know the series of TRUE circumstances that led to the loss of millions of dollars but yet spew out words of hatred. If you wanted to attack with words, then why didn't you all visit Mike in person? If you feel the need, then write to him only and stop attacking good employees and customers. Not right! The same people will continue to twist things. They say we weren't kind, and yet they themselves act horribly. Please be mindful. And the whole truth will be coming out soon...documented, not gossip!
It is with a heavy heart that we announce Dutchies Waterloo will be closing.
Today will be our last day of business, and we will be open until 9 p.m.
We want to sincerely thank our customers who have supported us for decades. This journey would not have been possible without your loyalty and trust in us as your weekly food shopping destination. Our family has been dedicated to serving this community for many years, and we have been truly blessed to get to know so many of you personally. We will miss you deeply!
From the beginning, our unwavering commitment has been to provide great products at affordable prices. We understand the struggles many face, and we want everyone to be able to afford good food without financial hardship. We encourage you to support small local business.....they will always look out for you!
From our early days at the St. Jacobs Market to now, we have many fond memories. From Charlene wearing her watermelon helmet to team trips to Canada’s Wonderland, we have shared countless moments of joy and laughter. We opened our doors here just over 15 years ago, and it has been an amazing journey without regrets. Thank you to all our employees who have contributed along the way.......we are deeply grateful and will miss you!
It is clear that some have sought to bring us down, and we will be addressing this in the coming weeks. A narrative was created with only one goal: not to seek the truth, encourage change, or foster understanding, but simply to destroy by altering public perception. This narrative was pushed forward without all the facts and details. We believe, in part, this was due to a lack of effort and desire to gather the full story. For those wondering, this closure will allow Mike to focus on his health and other commitments, including those to former employees, suppliers, and others. Mike will honor all promises made to employees and suppliers. As Mike remains passionate about the food industry and providing healthy, affordable food, we will share future plans at a later time.
Success in business is not just about making profits; it is about relationships with customers, employees, and suppliers. It requires perseverance, patience, and passion. It means waking up early every morning chasing a dream others cannot see and working late to solve problems no one else knows about. It is about trusting God even when the odds seem impossible. This is a journey we have come to appreciate fully.Thank you for being a part of it!
We are thankful to God for His work in our lives. We are grateful to God for the opportunity to create and build something meaningful, motivated by love for Him and others.
In honoring God, we seek to bless others through our work.
We have often missed the mark, but He has worked in us and caused us to grow.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
As we come to recognize our failures and weaknesses through the challenges we face, we come to recognize who provides us with daily strength, and we grow to trust Him more deeply.
Tonight, we will be here to say goodbye and thank you to our loyal customers and friends. Please stop by for some drinks and treats!
We will also have amazing deals for you starting promptly at 4 p.m.! We hope to see you all there!
Thank you, and God Bless you all!!
