Fresh Organic Bundle's weekly organic goody bag program definitely warrants being added into your weekly agenda! I will post on this page weekly (so make sure to Like the page so you can see the weekly post in your Newsfeed), listing what each Fresh Organic Bundle (FOB) will include and what the cost of the bag will be.
2. All you have to do to is simply comment on the post stating you would like
to receive the FOB, which will in turn let me know to reserve a bundle for you.
3. Once I receive the wholesome goodness, I sort through it all and divide it up into each bundle.
4. Fresh Organic Bundles become available for pick up on Thursday or Friday nights after 6:30pm. Currently cash only is accepted. Pick up takes place at my house at 307 May Street, Walkerton (May Street is the street directly across from the Walkerton Arena’s main entrance). That’s all there is to it! Like the page, watch for the weekly post, comment if you want to receive the Fresh Organic Bundle, pick up Thursday or Friday night with cash at 307 Mary Street, Walkerton. An example of a FOB I recently sold included 1 bunch of celery, 3 bunches of broccoli, 3 oranges, 1 package of blueberries, and 1 bunch of romaine for only $20! Typically I will feature 1 FOB/week, but there are some weeks where I overindulge in coffee and feature 1 FOB of vegetables and 1 FOB of fruit. You have the choice to sign up for one or the other or both. Organic vs Non-Organic - what does it mean and why does it matter? Organic produce contains little to no pesticide residues. Produce grown in organic soils contains more nutrients for the body, which is especially important in children and their growing bodies. A bonus that comes with eating organic is the undeniable flavour! Organic farming allows for the reduction of synthetic pesticide use, which in turn, allows for better soil to grow in, better air to breath, better water to drink and a healthier farmer. In conclusion:
Organic = a healthier you and a healthier environment
