From harvest last fall, these beauty purple dragon carrots are back in the ground to produce seed. We store the carrots in our cool bot cooler over the winter. A few weeks ago, they started growing roots and shoots, and now they are back in the ground and covered to prevent the critters from nibbling them while they establish.

Happy 11th Birthday to the most caring, creative, penguin loving and brave one. Maggie is always thinking of others, loves to create art, and enjoys spending quality time with her sister. She is looking forward to playing more boccia and going on more adventures.
