Cold chain management is a whole thing. Just like every other grocery store, Quest ensures an uninterrupted cold chain to keep food safe for our clients. And like any equipment, repairs, maintenance and replacement are part of the journey when in the business of handling and moving food. There are no exceptions for the cost of running this equipment even as a non-profit!
In order to keep everything up and running, we need funding support from generous groups like - big shout out!! Thank you for your crucial support!

Together we are change-makers! With support from we are able to keep our equipment running and all the good food flowing to Quest markets.
From till equipment to power jacks, refrigeration to keeping our fleet on the road, the work we do at Quest comes at a cost. We are so thankful for financial support that helps keep all the wheels (and compressors) turning and in good repair so we can serve the folks we are here to serve.
Big shout out to Face the World Foundation for supporting the work we do!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

As we celebrate Mother’s Day and reflect on the incredible ways they shape our lives and our communities, we’d like to specifically honour the resilience and resourcefulness of mothers who, like Philomina, January, and Olga, work tirelessly to provide healthy and filling meals for their families, all while facing the challenges of food insecurity.
These remarkable mothers represent many of our clients at Quest Non-Profit Markets.
Your generous support enables these mothers, along with many others, to provide for their families on a tight budget, giving them the dignity to choose nutritious food that reflects their culture and traditions. Together, we are uplifting families in our communities and helping to break the cycle of food insecurity.
Thank you for supporting the extraordinary mothers who inspire us every day. We wish you a joyful Mother’s Day filled with love and appreciation for the mothers in your life!

We are immensely grateful to the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller for organising an intimate performance by the amazing Chor Leoni in support of Quest clients.

Thanks to the generousity of SOSJ members and others in attendance, the event raised over $20,000, which will go directly to purchasing quality protein products for Quest clients.

We would also like to thank Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP for hosting the event in their beautiful downtown offices (with the best view in Vancouver),
Bon Vivant for the delicious catering, and Liquor For Less for the refreshing drinks.

The support of organisations and businesses in our community is a continued source of hope and inspiration. Together, we can break the cycle of food insecurity.

Repackaged using sustainable materials, this generous bulk donation from has been a hit with Quest clients! Laundry day has never been so good!
Working to support shopping with DIGNITY at our core, Quest exists to interrupt cycles of FOOD insecurity, but we also strive to meet our client’s needs in a grocery store setting. Being able to buy other household products at affordable prices goes a long way toward supporting folks’ everyday needs. Household and personal cleaning products are some of the more sought-after items and this generous donation helps our clients get what they need!
Bravo 👏🏻

As the holiday season unfolds, we want to thank you for being part of the incredible community making dignified food access possible.

The holidays are often centered around the dinner table—a place for connection, nourishment, and joy. Because of your generosity this year, you’ve ensured that thousands of our neighbours didn’t have to choose between a holiday meal and keeping the lights on.

This year, your support helped:

* Provide dignified access to affordable, healthy groceries for families across Metro Vancouver

* Reduce food waste by redirecting fresh, high-quality groceries to those who need it most

* Foster a sense of belonging and community for everyone who walks through our doors

Whether you donated, volunteered, or shared our mission with others, you are the heart of Quest. You’ve provided more than just food; you’ve provided peace of mind and dignity.

From our table to yours, we wish you a holiday season filled with warmth, health, and happiness. We look forward to continuing our mission together in 2026!

Celebrating the teams that make it happen at Quest! Each of our market managers and their teams are dedicated to the work of making good food available to Quest clients. Today we celebrate our second Holiday Market day where clients shop for what they need and want. Moving away from the traditional hamper model and working with our referral partners, donor partners, and trusted vendors, we’ve stocked the shelves with high quality proteins and fresh produce to give clients the dignity that comes with the choice to select for the needs of their households.
Thank you to all who contribute to making this happen!
