An online marketplace to buy quality local food at affordable prices. Founded in January 2012 by Lucas Lu and Stephen Bentley in Toronto, who are two friends who have the goal of making healthy groceries more affordable and accessible for everybody.

When Lucas was still a student at Wilfrid Laurier university, he would often go to St.John's kitchen to serve people food. As he was on the serving line pouring a well dressed lady some rice, he realized the need for healthy food is ubiquitous. You don't have to be a lower income family to feel the barriers of buying healthy and fresh groceries. Thus he was inspired to create Grocerybunny to solve this problem: provide healthy food at affordable prices. He then teamed up with his friend Stephen Bentley, who has a larger than life personality and is just as driven to create more good food options as Lucas. We are on a social mission to make sure every person and family can afford and are eating healthy food, so together, we can build a better future for this country and this world.
