OUR JOURNEY AT JRV FILIPINO MARKET
Since opening JRV Filipino Market on February 3, 2023, we have built a loyal customer base made up of roughly 90% Filipinos, with the rest coming from various countries across Asia and Europe, including many Spanish‑speaking customers from Mexico and South America.
As days turned into months, our customer base continued to grow — along with our merchandise inventory and services. We started with groceries and food take‑out, then expanded to include money remittance services, followed by b**r products. Later, we added both a Bitcoin ATM and a cash ATM to better serve our community.
We also introduced the JRV Filipino Market Membership Program, offered for an annual fee of only $35, giving members a 5% discount every time they buy b**r, balut, fruits, vegetables, and groceries.
Example:
A customer who buys $50 worth of groceries every week can enjoy a 5% discount totaling $10 per month — that’s $120 in savings per year, a 66% return on the $35 membership fee.
Recently, we converted a small grocery area into a dine‑in space, giving our customers a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy simple but delicious meals after work. We also partnered with The B**r Store, a government‑run recycling program, to accept empty b**r cans and bottles — helping improve recycling and supporting a cleaner environment.
After two years of facing waves of frustrations and financial losses, we finally began experiencing a reversal of fortune — slowly erasing the dreaded threat that destroys many corporations: insolvency or bankruptcy.
At the moment, we see a rainbow after all.
