Community action plays an important role in creating sustainable support for local food security🥗
This is even possible for fresh veggies, as demonstrated here by the first harvest from the x garden that our Co-op's gardening team has upgraded and cared for in its debut season. The entire harvest has been added to the Community Fridges of Toronto refrigerator at 188 Lowther Ave💪

Whether you call them mocktails or zero-proof cocktails, every home bartender should have a non-alcoholic drink or two at the ready - https://www.karmacoop.org/events-calendar/zero-proof-cocktails

Packed with flavour, mocktails can be every bit as interesting as their alcoholic counterparts, and offer a delicious alternative for those who can't or don't want to drink.

In this hands-on workshop, on Tuesday June 9 from 6-7:30pm, you'll learn to make a variety of drinks from ingredients you can get at Karma (or your garden later this year).

Please bring a small glass for tasting your cocktail samples. A short squat glass is best, no stemware please! And bring a small jar for leftover grenadine to take home.

Cost is $10 per person to pay for ingredients.
