The weekend is here and it is a perfect time for barbecuing come and get your fresh asparagus. We have Green Onions flat beans, cucumbers, fresh basil, Mini Peppers that are seedless shepherd Peppers very sweet Rhubarb Tomatoes. We have fresh bread again today and fresh scones and croissants.

The weekend is finally here. It’s a rainy day out but we are open rain or shine. We have fresh breads again today. They sold out fast yesterday. Perfect day for asparagus soup, come out to the farm and see all the fresh goodies we have.

Yeah!!! It’s Friday everyone…. We have lots of asparagus and goodies for you. Fresh in today Sour Dough and Italian Bread and English Muffins. We also have a selection of croissants. Hurry in before they are sold out.

What a chilly morning…. but good news…we have asparagus and the guys are still picking.
Open today till 6 pm. We also have some tasty tomatoes and rhubarb and perfect day to make asparagus soup!!

Dobrentey’s Asparagus update, as of this morning our fields took a huge hit with the frost. We have lost about 90% of the field. The pictures show the frost damage and due to the damage we need to wait for the shoots that are still underground to emerge, therefore we will not be open for at least 4-5 days. We need some warm weather. Approximately Saturday or Sunday and than we hope to remain open for the remainder of the season.

Update again on asparagus. The forecast for tonight is dipping down to -2 that means there is a good chance of frost tonight if the sky is clear. That means we will have frost damage and I will not know the extent of the damage till tomorrow morning.
We may not be up and running till Saturday if the damage is severe. We are closed today as well as the asparagus is not growing quick as it should again due to weather. We are trying our best to get operational but we rely on the weather to do so.

Please be patient, I’m hoping to reopen as quickly as possible.
