We managed to get all the potatoes planted yesterday. Two acres. The old potato planter needed an adjustment 😉, so I had my amigo , come over to help.

I was reminded of the scripture, “‎‭Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee... In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Genesis 3:18-19)

Although I kept the field tilled and black last year, it was still loaded with weeds and thistles. With thirty degree temperatures out, it was a crude reality, how by the sweat of our brow, we are going to eat our potatoes until we go back to the dirt from which God created us, unless that is, He returns first.
