If you haven’t tried yet, consider this your sign. 🦬

Their Pemmican Strips are inspired by traditional pemmican and made with Canadian pasture-raised bison, berries, maple syrup, smoke, sea salt, and pepper. They’re a hearty, portable snack with plenty of protein and a great balance of savoury and sweet.

We also carry their Dry Bison Meat, made simply with bison, simple seasoning, and smoke.

Grab some next time you’re in SaskMade and give them a try!

We’re very excited to now have in store, made with just three ingredients and local honey! 🍫🍯

If dark chocolate has never really been your thing, this one might just change your mind. Made with cacao beans, cacao butter, and local honey, this small-batch chocolate is smooth, delicious, and naturally less bitter than traditional dark chocolate.

We’re carrying their chocolate bars and peanut bark, so stop by and give them a try!

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

We pause to honour the survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never came home, and acknowledge that reconciliation is not a single day on the calendar. It is a daily commitment to listening, learning, and doing better.

Here in Saskatchewan, we operate on the unceded territory of the Nêhiyawak (Plains Cree), Nahkawininiwak (Saulteaux), Nakota (Assiniboine), Dakota and Lakota (Sioux), and Denesuline (Dene/Chipewyan) peoples, and the homeland of the Métis. We are committed to growing, learning, and showing up as allies wherever we can.

If you are in Saskatoon, we encourage you to put on your orange shirt and attend one of these meaningful events happening in our city:

- Every Child Matters Powwow — September 29 & 30
- 3rd Annual Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk — September 30
- Wanuskewin National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Gathering — September 30, with presentations, community art sessions, and speakers throughout the day

From the pasture to your skin 🦬✨

Quill Creek Farms believes in using every part of the bison, and their handcrafted Whipped Bison Tallow is proof of that. Rendered bison fat blended with jojoba oil and whipped into a fluffy, deeply moisturizing skin cream that is clean, non-toxic, and rooted in whole animal tradition. Find them at SaskMade!

Set it, forget it, and come back to the best meal you have had all fall 🦬

We just tried Bison Ridge Farms cross rib roast in the slow cooker and it was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Raised on organically grown pastures along the North Saskatchewan River by a family who cares about the land and the animals, this is Saskatchewan bison at its best. Find them at SaskMade!
