Ps Bantams are back! 18 small eggs for $8, great for marinating or pickling! Our friends over at Rainbow Ridge let us know the snow is still melting on the farm, and the farmyard is extremely muddy! Garyā€™s last calf was born yesterday, but theyā€™re waiting on a couple goat babies yet.

Richardā€™s parsnips (planted in the fall) are up and he canā€™t wait to cook ā€˜em up with butter and brown sugar. Iā€™m not sure if weā€™ll get any, but if youā€™re seeing this post, Richardā€¦ hint hint šŸ˜‰

They feel behind on their garden, but we think a lot of people might this year.

Aunt Agatha is unstoppableā€¦ and absolutely endearing! Through the film, we get a glimpse of her story growing up facing loss after loss and learning to survive off of simplicity - and how ā€œritual doesnā€™t need to be grand to be sacredā€ (Amalie Atkins, CBC Interview).
