Good day to our beautiful community!

With gratitude in our hearts we will be hosting a BBQ on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 11am-2pm.

All proceeds from the BBQ will go to support athletes in the Special Olympics!

Be greeted by our very own gold medalist Mike! He will be sharing about his experience and what the Special Olympics means to him and those around him!

Come one, come all, rain or shine, we welcome you as you have welcomed us! Thank you for your ongoing support both within the community and with our ongoing campaign!

It's that time of year again for one of our fundraisers near and dear to our hearts ❤️
Eastview IGA will be taking donations for Special Olympics Alberta starting from: June 11th-June 21st 2026
Sobey's will be matching all donations up to $500,000
There is still lots of time to donate at our store so stop by and help out our local Special Olympians! 💕

It is with mixed emotions that after 14 years as owners of Eastview IGA, Anthony and Tara Kearney are retiring this Saturday, May 2nd. We would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the years and especially thank you all for your support of the community through our fundraising efforts, most specifically the Special Olympics, the Red Deer Foodbank and the local Breakfast Program fundraisers. Despite our small size of a store, through your kindness, most years we have been the top fundraiser in Central Alberta and some years we have been amongst the top fundraisers in the nation. We would also like to thank our staff for their efforts in maintaining the store's reputation of being a small-town store in the middle of the city, always putting the customer first. As for the future of your neighbourhood IGA, we are leaving it in the capable hands of the same long-time staff you've come to know and love plus a new Store Manager, Bernita VanSchothorst.
