ng up, their parents, Graham and Kay, provided them with the opportunity to ''make a little pocket money'' selling sweet corn at the end of the lane. This part of the business has since evolved into Hudson's Farm Fresh produce which now supplies sweet corn and other fresh produce to the Ottawa Valley and the west end of the City of Ottawa. Sweet Corn and other fresh vegetables are available in season with the sweet corn season typically running from late July/early August to early September. The Hudson’s pride themselves in ensuring their corn is picked fresh every day - none is kept over from one day to the next to ensure the corn is as sweet and tender as possible. While most of our pork products are available through the grocery stores, it may also be available through Reiche Meats in Micksburg, Ontario and Farmersville Community Abatoir in Athens, Ontario as either freezer orders or barbecue pigs, available in all sizes, year round.
