Friday is Rib night in Fallowfield! That's right - Ottawa's best smoked ribs returns this week, along with our 14-hour smoked pulled pork both using our homemade rubs and sauces. We'll also be pulling out the vintage Churchill's Victorian Oven for gourmet baked potatoes - check out the pics. Rounding out the lineup is freshly-squeezed lemonade, snow-cones and of course Ottawa's best popcorn. Fun starts Friday at 4 at the historic Fallowfield Garage - just south of the roundabout at Hope Side Road.

WOW - Take a look at these pork butts on the smoker - almost ready to be turned into our infamous Pulled Pork! Today's menu will feature both Pulled Pork and Smoked Chicken - your choice served with homemade slaw or beans. We'll also be putting either Pulled Pork or Smoked Chicken on a pizza with a combo tomato/BBQ sauce base, triple cheddar cheese and red onions - in addition to our regular pizza lineup. OK, the secret is revealed....Peter is the Italian of our namesake Italian Fallowfielder and our pro pizza turner - hailing from Fontanafredda, Italy - and getting ready for the Sens Season! The Pizza Pedlar returns to Fallowfield this Friday with stone-fired Neapolitan pizzas while Pitmaster Ron will be smoking boneless chicken breasts and pork butts (~14hours) for our infamous Pulled Pork - both using our homemade rubs and sauces and smoked low and slow over hardwoods. Owen will cranking out his snow-cones while Paige will be squeezing lemons for fresh lemonade. Starts always at 4 until we sell out - join us just South of the roundabout at Hope Side Road and Old Richmond Road! See you then!

Wrapped ribs in the smoker earlier this morning - we are on the home stretch of our 3-day Rib process - all served with homemade coleslaw, homemade baked beans and cornbread. See you later this aft!

Ribilicious Update! We are mid-way through our unique 3-day rib-smoking process and they look fantastic, if we do say so ourselves! We also fired up the vintage Churchill Victorian Oven last night to try a couple of our recently-harvested Ontario russet potatoes and they too were great (and massive btw)! See you tomorrow at 4 and don't fret about the weather - we put up a large 20x20 tent to keep y'all covered.

Texas BBQ is returning to Fallowfield this Friday Aug 29 with our famous Smoked Ribs & Pulled Pork! We’ll also be hauling out our vintage Churchill’s Victoria Oven for gourmet baked potatoes – fully loaded, poutine-style or stuffed with our Pulled Pork. In addition, we will have fresh lemonade, Owen’s snow cones and as usual, the best popcorn flavours in Ottawa. Come early and thanks to all for the fantastic turn-out on our opening night. We are so glad to start our Fall 2025 run (S5; E1) where we'll start with stone-fired pizzas by The Pizza Pedlar while Pit master Ron will be slow smoking pork butts for pulled pork, with of course our homemade BBQ sauces. In addition, we will have Owen's snow-cones, Fallow-fresh lemonade and of course, Ottawa's best popcorn. Last-minute Canada Day pop-up! That's right folks, the picnic tables are out and we simply couldn't wait to get the 2025 Fallowfield Market season going - so what better way to connect and have fun and start on Canada Day? We will have stone-fired pizzas by The Pizza Pedlar, Ron's 12-hour hickory-smoked pull pork, Owen's snow cones, Fallow-fresh Lemondae and of course Ottawa's best popcorn. Fun starts at 12! For our market finale of the season Pitmaster Ron will again be doing smoked pulled pork and smoked chicken -both back due to popular demand and feedback. We will also be lighting up the ovens for stone-fired Neapolitan Pizzas and you bet, we will be doing some fusion with pulled pork and smoked chicken pizzas to mix it up. Joining us on Friday will be Terry Capener of Kanata Soup Co. serving their home-made soups & mixes along with feshly squeezed lemonade, Owen's Sno-Cones and of course Ottawa's best popcorn. After a short hiatus, we are back smoking our Canadian baby back ribs and pulled pork, using homemade rubs & sauces coupled with our unique 3-day rib process producing the best ribs in town folks! Joining Pitmaster Ron on the smoker will be Churchill's Victorian Ovens doing a variety of gourmet baked potatoes, as well as Ottawa's best popcorn. Join us starting Friday at 4 at the historic Fallowfield Garage, just South of the roundabout at Old Richmond Road and Hope Side Rd. You know we will sell out, so come early to not be disappointed!

Wow and thanks for a fantastic night in Fallowfield! Apologies to those that showed after we had sold out, and thanks for the tremendous patience for those that waiting for their food - we were cookin' as fast as we can! We’ll be taking a bit of a pause, so we can re-energize ourselves, and plan the next smashin' Friday Night in Fallowfield.
