The staff of Wilton Cheese Factory and Jensen Cheese regret to inform our customers, acquaintances and friends that former Plant Manager, Mr. David Larkin has sadly passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Dave was much more than the man in charge of the factory. His kindness, ethics and fierce sense of loyalty were a foundation that grounded so many. His dependability and devotion to the factory was, and remains, unmeasurable. Dave was a genuine man of substance and knowledge.

Dave was not fond of sitting behind a desk and would rather manage situations himself than ask someone else to do work he was perfectly capable of handling.

Dave was a tremendous part of a disappearing art of small factory cheese making. The cheese world has lost much with his passing.

Dave will be missed by many who called him a colleague and friend.
