NANAIMO, CAN YOU HELP US FILL OUR COMMUNITY WARMTH DRIVE THIS SATURDAY?

The Downtown Nanaimo Harvest Festival is only 4 DAYS AWAY, and while you’re getting ready to join us, we’re asking you to do one small thing:

Take a look through your closets.

Spirit of Nanaimo Society is collecting warm essentials for local people in need, with donations supporting Salvation Army Church Nanaimo Centre of Hope.

We’re looking for:

GENTLY USED COATS
Adults & kids • All sizes

GENTLY USED BLANKETS
Clean and in good condition

BRAND NEW SOCKS
Adults & kids • All sizes

Have a winter coat your child has outgrown?

A warm blanket you no longer use?

Picking up groceries this week and able to add a package of new socks?

Set it aside now and bring it with you Saturday.

One coat. One blanket. One package of socks.

If enough of us each contribute just one thing, we can send a whole lot of warmth back into our community.
