Then I moved on to housekeeping, a job many people overlook, but one that taught me humility, discipline, and strength. Cleaning rooms, lifting heavy loads, rushing to meet deadlines—while still carrying responsibilities as a parent and as someone trying to build a future. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was honest work. I learned that no job is small when you are working hard for your dreams.

Today, I stand proud to say that I survived those struggles. I didn’t give up. I kept showing up, even on days when I felt invisible. And now, I have become PERMANENT in FSA (Food Service Assistant). This is more than just a job status—it is proof that perseverance pays off.

This journey taught me resilience, patience, and gratitude. To anyone struggling right now: your hard work is not wasted. Your story is being written, even on the hardest days. If I survived, so can you. 🇨🇦✨ ゚viralvideo

🇨🇦✨ My “Welcome to Canada” Story: The Adventures of a Newcomer ✨🇨🇦

When I arrived in Canada, I thought I was ready for anything.
Canada said: “Are you sure?” 😅

1st Job: Tim Hortons
Your girl who never mopped a floor in the Philippines suddenly became a Mopping Queen. 👑🧹
If there was an Olympic sport for wiping tables and smiling through exhaustion, I would’ve brought home the gold.
Also learned the magical power of double-double to survive early shifts. ☕️😂

2nd Job: Housekeeping at the Hilton Hotel
Whew. If you know, you know. 😩
Changing 10,000 pillows, lifting mattresses like I was training for “Canada’s Strongest Woman,” and pushing a cart heavier than my entire future. 💪🛒
Respect to ALL housekeepers — you are the real MVPs. 🙌

3rd Job: Sales Associate at Claire’s
From cleaning rooms to convincing customers that they definitely need that cute scrunchie. 😆
I mastered the art of smiling even when someone unfolded everything I just folded. Retail warriors, I feel you. 🛍️😂

4th Job: Food Service Attendant in Homecare
Serving, helping, caring — my heart grew so much here. 💖
This job reminded me why kindness matters and why every small act of service makes a difference.

And then…
✨ December 2024: I Graduated! 🎓😭✨
After all the jobs, all the challenges, all the “Lord, help me” moments — I made it.
From a nervous newcomer to someone who survived mopping, housekeeping, retail, and caregiving… I am PROUD of that girl. ❤️

Canada didn’t just give me opportunities — it gave me stories, strength, and a thicker skin (mostly from winter ❄️😂).

Here’s to new chapters, new dreams, and more adventures! 🇨🇦✨
