While scuffing between rows for w**d control, before yesterdays rain, we turned up this horseshoe.

We typically turn up rocks and broken tines from cultivators over the years but this was cool.

There hasn’t been a horse in the fields here since at least 1982 and who knows how long before then.

Is this is sign? Or just a random find?

We hope it means good luck to come.

We have our first flock of free run broilers ready for processing. These birds will be approximately 5-7lbs dressed. Raised without antibiotics, hormones or vaccinations. They are processed without being washed in bleach or injected with saline. These are the nicest birds we have raised.
They will be available for sale next week at $5.99/lb
