Everyone is welcome to shop or join, drop in to 621 Princess Ave. London, ON Canada Who are we? What is a Co-op?

We are a not-for-profit, member-owned, co-operative natural food store. We provide our members with organic, natural, sustainably produced products at fair prices. We value:
- social and economic responsibility
- respect for the earth
- a caring community
- a healthy local food economy. A co-operative is a business owned by its customers. Profits from the operation of the Co-op go to maintaining t

he store and purchasing new inventory, not someone’s pocket. Unlike conventional businesses, the customers of a co-operative are also members and own a small part of the business. Every member has the opportunity to voice their opinions about how the Co-op should be run and can be democratically elected to the Board of Directors or join one of the many committees that examine how the Co-op works. Why Join?
- Become part of a community of people who care about what we eat, how we acquire our food, and how it is produced.
- Members can purchase natural, organic, high-quality foods at reasonable prices, and we stock as many such foods as possible.
- As a co-operative, we adhere to the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. Our members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.

SATURDAY APRIL 25, 11am-2pm, SAVE THE DATE AND SORT YOUR CLOTHING! Celebrate Earth Day and help combat textile waste by participating in the London Food Co-op’s first clothing swap! Bring in up to 10 items of clean, gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and purses, and leave with up to 10 new-to-you items! Please no swimwear, undergarments, used hair accessories or make-up. Bring your items during the swap, or drop them off during one of our advanced drop-off times: Friday April 24 4:00 pm-6:00 pm or Saturday April 25 9:15 am-10:30 am at the Co-op. You will be given one ticket per item you bring in. Each ticket can be used to redeem one item at the swap. All items leftover at the end of the swap will be donated. See you there!
