The favorable weather conditions over the weekend allowed for significant progress on the Haskap and Saskatoon berry fields. Approximately half of the work has been completed, with a quarter of the patch remaining, contingent upon future weather patterns.

Nothing beats the summer heat like a refreshing homemade Saskatoon Berry Mocktail made with local berries and fresh flavour. Sweet, icy, and bursting with prairie goodness — it’s the perfect drink for relaxing after a sunny day at the farm. 🌿🍹

🍹 Saskatoon Berry Sparkler (Non-Alcoholic) 🍹

A refreshing prairie-inspired drink perfect for warm days at the farm!

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Saskatoon berries
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• Ice cubes
• Sparkling water or lemon soda
• Fresh mint for garnish

Directions:

Mash Saskatoon berries with honey and lemon juice.

Fill a glass with ice and add the berry mixture.

Top with sparkling water or lemon soda.

Stir gently and garnish with fresh mint and a few whole berries.
