About Us
Treverva Farm is located in Green Valley, Ontario and is owned by Jane & John Sears. When we moved to Green Valley a few years ago we realized that this was our forever home and set on the large task of clearing some of the trees so we could grow food. We have about half an acre that we currently grow vegetables on but plenty more land to expand. We have many fruit trees, some nut trees and fruit bushes, most of which are fairly new but in time will produce lots of local, spray free fruit for you and your family. We grow herbs and vegetables and because of our short growing season we start from seed in our indoor greenhouses before transplanting outside once the ground is ready.
Treverva is a very small village in south-west England where Jane is originally from so when it came time to name the farm Treverva seemed an appropriate choice.
We offer a weekly veggie box (CSA Share) from early June to mid September depending on the weather. We are looking to partner with an organic meat farmer close to us so we will be offering pork and beef throughout the growing season too. Stay tuned for more on that.
