We're a family owned and operated grocery store home to the regions top halal butcher shop. The founding brothers, Ammar & Bashar, opened the shop in 2004 with just two employees. Although we've grown in many ways, we've remained dedicated to serving you quality cuts of local beef, veal, chicken, & lamb. We also have a wide variety of imported Middle Eastern, North African, Indian, South Asian, an

💚Have you tried fresh green almonds? 💚

At the very beginning of the season the fresh green almonds are much smaller and more green in colour. To eat the them we dip them in salt and enjoy the crunchy outside and fleshy inside. Later on in the season, now, the almond is lighter in colour and harder. The almond has developed inside and is maturing. With these mature almonds we crack the shell and eat the inside!!

You can see the raw almond vs. a roasted one!
