Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there 🐝💛

Family has always been at the heart of Dutchman’s Gold. As you may know Angela’s Dad, John Van Alten is one the founders and was the original master beekeeper. What started with his passion, hard work, and commitment to providing pure, quality honey has grown into a family business built on the values he passed down through generations.

From teaching life lessons to creating lasting traditions, fathers help shape the stories that bring families together. Today, we celebrate all the dads, grandpas, and father figures who lead with love, support, and a whole lot of sweetness.

Thank you, John, for laying the foundation for Dutchman’s Gold and showing us the importance of family every step of the way. Wishing everyone a sweet and memorable Father’s Day. 🍯

Healthy Planet just opened in North Burlington, and you already know I had to be there opening day to see what’s on the shelves 👀

45 years ago, a little girl was standing at farmers markets, and helping her parents sell honey on her family’s front porch in Carlisle Ontario. She had no idea she was building the foundation of what would become her life’s work. 🐝🍯

This year, Dutchman’s Gold turns 45 and we’re so proud to share this milestone with all of you.
From 300 hives on a one-acre lot, to two facilities, dozens of employees, and shelves in 1800+ stores across Canada including recent 250+ banner stores across Eastern Canada this journey has been everything. Every harvest. Every challenge. Every moment of doubt followed by a decision to keep going.  (and it makes us stronger)

None of this happens without the people who believed in us.  Let’s recognize some of our retailers who attended our annual hive walk. To the ones who have been with us nearly the entire ride , , .supermarket , and thank you for sticking by us. To those who have championed us for years , , , , , and we don’t take your support for granted. And to our newest partners , , , and welcome to the hive. 🌿

To our founders, John Van Alten a true master beekeeper (along with his then wife Annie) and both total legends, thank you for teaching us the value of hard work and humility. And to every customer, beekeeper, and pollinator advocate who has supported us along the way: this milestone belongs to you too.
