New strawberries! 🍓🍓
Our first batch of strawberries spent a month lost in the mail. We planted them with our fingers crossed, but after three weeks without any new growth, it was time to admit defeat.
Today we started over with a fresh batch, and these ones are already looking much healthier! Hopefully they settle in, put down strong roots, and grow into some beautiful strawberry plants for us.

The last of our flowers and veggie plants made their way outside today!
If you still need any plants, or need to replace something that didn’t make it, reach out soon. Anything still waiting in a small pot will be planted in our own gardens over the next week or two.
Our potted herbs will still be available at the Sunday markets for the next few weeks!

The tomato jungle has officially made its way outside! 🍅
These huge, caged tomato plants will be marked down this weekend from $15 to just $8. Many are already flowering and producing tomatoes!
After this weekend, any plants still here will be planted in our own gardens, so this is your last chance to take one home!

We have been trying to convince the younger pullets that the run is, in fact, a perfectly safe and exciting place to explore.
Perdita was getting a little one-on-one encouragement, and Dahlia, one of the mature hens, decided she was not about to be left out. She launched herself straight from the ground onto my shoulder to supervise the whole situation.
Apparently chicken jealousy comes with impressive vertical lift. 🐔

Late-night planting at The Flying App 🌱
We spent last night getting the extra plants from our plant sale tucked into the garden. We may be a little behind schedule, but everything is settling in nicely and looking good.
It’s always a good feeling seeing the beds fill up, especially knowing these plants came from the same sale many of you supported. Now we wait, water, and watch them grow!
