It was a GREAT year for Zucchini and we have several large ones to GIVE AWAY !!
They have a lot of uses. Grated are good for baking, stuff them with your favourite filling and bake, make zucchini noodles, thin slice to replace lasagna noodles to mention a few.
We hate to throw them out. I can bring to Pincher Creek at my convenience.

Welcome to rural Alberta! Please keep in mind that when driving, you may encounter a cattle drive in the area over the next few weeks as cattle are being moved out of the forestry and headed home. Please be patient with the cattle and the ranchers accompanying them; they are just trying to get their animals around safely.

Remember, the ranchers are your best guides when encountering a cattle drive. Whether on foot, ATV, or horseback, they'll provide you with the necessary instructions to navigate the situation safely. Try to make eye contact with one of the people helping; they are also watching for you.

Alternatively, when you meet a herd on the road coming towards you, if you can pull to one shoulder and stop your car, the herd will go by more easily than if you drive through the middle of them. If you can shut your vehicle down, it helps a little more, too. This reduces noise and stress for the cattle, making the drive safer and more efficient.

If this is impossible, keep driving forward slowly, through the cattle, and the herd will part.

Please do not honk to get their attention, as this can startle the cattle and cause them to scatter, increasing the risk of accidents. It's best to remain calm and patient, allowing the ranchers to manage the situation.

As you navigate the cattle drive, take a moment to appreciate the incredible agricultural community surrounding you. This is a unique experience that highlights the importance of our rural landscape.
