💚 Happy Co-op Week! 💚

This week, we’re joining co-operatives across Canada to celebrate Co-op Week 2026!

This year’s theme, “Power the Economy,” highlights the important role co-operatives play in building stronger communities, supporting local economies and putting people first.

At the Gander Co-op, we’re proud to be part of a movement built on community, cooperation and shared success.

Every time you shop at your Co-op, you’re supporting a business that belongs to its members and is committed to the community we call home.

💚 To our members, employees and community — thank you! Your continued support is what makes our Co-op so special.

Here’s to celebrating the power of working together, supporting local and building a stronger future for everyone!

Happy Co-op Week from all of us!

🎉 50/50 is Back! 🎉

We’re excited to bring back this community favourite starting Sunday, August 30—with a refreshed format designed to support local organizations and meet updated provincial lottery requirements.

The 50/50 will now be operated through GCM Foundation Inc.,( Gander Co-op Member Foundation) registered local not-for-profit organization established to oversee the lottery and help direct proceeds back into our community.

A dedicated GCM Foundation 50/50 Lottery Committee will review funding applications and recommend support for eligible local community organizations.

Here’s what you need to know:

Registration is now open (at the cash)
The first draw under the new licence will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026

We’re thrilled to continue this much-loved tradition, bring a little excitement to grocery shopping, and provide the opportunity to support our local community.

Good luck, everyone! 🍀
