🚧 BIG THINGS are happening at First Town Foods! 🚧

We’re currently in the middle of an exciting full-store realignment and refresh project — reorganizing shelves, improving layouts, reducing clutter, and creating a cleaner, easier, and more enjoyable shopping experience for our community.

Our goal is simple: make First Town Foods look better, shop better, and serve you better.

You may notice some big changes throughout the week as we continue transforming departments aisle by aisle, and we’re aiming to have this major revamp completed by the end of the week.

We’re incredibly excited about the direction things are heading, and this is just the beginning. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and encouragement as we work to make your local store even better.

Stay tuned — a fresher, cleaner, more organized First Town Foods is coming together right before your eyes! 👀

FORT VERMILION TOWN CLEANUP – MAY 14

We were recently informed that this year’s annual Fort Vermilion Town Cleanup is scheduled for May 14.

This is a great annual effort led through the school and County, and we are grateful to all the students, organizers, and supporters who help keep our community clean, welcoming, and well cared for.

First Town Foods is pleased to help support and promote this important community initiative.

More details will be shared as they become available.

📚🛒 Welcoming St. Mary’s Students to First Town Foods! 🛒📚

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from St. Mary’s Catholic / Fort Vermilion Public School to First Town Foods for a special field trip!

The students toured our store and learned about the many roles that help a grocery store operate — from the bakery and deli to the meat department, backroom logistics, and front-end operations. It was a great opportunity to show them how teamwork, responsibility, and hard work all come together to serve our community.

As Fort Vermilion’s only grocery store, we are proud to play a role not only in feeding our town and surrounding communities, but also in helping educate and inspire the next generation. Seeing the kids ask questions, explore the departments, and learn how food gets from delivery to shelf was truly rewarding.

A big thank you to the teachers and staff at St. Mary’s for partnering with us, and to our First Town Foods team members who helped make the visit such a positive experience.

We look forward to continuing to support local schools and community initiatives in the future. 💚

We’re proud to support community initiatives here in Fort Vermilion.

A little while back, we partnered with the Fort Vermilion Recreation Board on their grocery raffle, where the grand prize was a $5,000 gift card redeemable at First Town Foods.

Events like this are a great example of what’s possible when local organizations and local businesses work together.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it a success — and congratulations to the winner!
