Good afternoon,

We will be CLOSED Sunday October 25/26

due to the planned Hydro One power outage

⚠️ Hydro One Power Outage: Sunday, October 25, 2026.

The Municipality has been made aware of a planned power outage in the area on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 7:00am to 3:00pm. As a result, approximately 4,900 Hydro One customers in the Municipality of Lambton Shores and area (including the areas of Bosanquet, Forest, Port Franks, and Thedford) will experience a power outage during that time.

The power outage is planned to allow for Hydro One crews to replace aging wooden pole structures that support transmission lines, in an effort to help prevent lengthy, unplanned outages in the future.

Customers are encouraged to prepare for the outage by:

- Ensure appliances, such as the stove, are in the off position
- Fully charge devices
- Use a battery-powered alarm clock
- Keep fridge and freezer doors closed as much as possible
