What is important to us: Sitting down together and sharing a meal as a family. Our farm has provided many great meals over the years to our growing kids and now a new generation. We are pleased to share that same quality of food with our community at the Elora’s Farmer’s Market and through local stores. Thank you to everyone who sponsored our team for Hike for Hospice Wellington. We raised over $600 as a team. Our hike took place on country roads this year: somewhere Gramma Nancy would have liked.
In all there were 43 teams hiking and we all raised just shy of $100 000.

Should have known what would happen when Little Farmer was in charge of the water hose today!!! By the end of our afternoon, everyone was soaked, cooled off, and had had lots of fun!

A weekend full of our little farmers... That healing balm of belly laughter, giggles, inquisitiveness, and zest for life does our hearts good! So thankful to have these little farmers in our world to remind us to laugh and giggle, play in the water, soak our hats in the water spray, and to stop and enjoy the surroundings on the farm.

Mama Cow has come a long way since she came home to the farm last year. Since Farmer Grumps is always calm and gentle when caring for the cattle, she has come to trust us and even allow us to pet her now... Huge step!
Her calf, Gwen, is very observant and a bit more timid. She will come around though with time and patience.
They are both loving the green pastures this spring. Gwen is growing like a w**d. She has personality and will probably end up being the Boss cow when she is a bit older.
The Boss cow is the one that when Farmer Grumps calls, she will get the others moving towards the feedlot and lead the charge. Boss Cow is always a cow(female). It is pretty cool to watch.
