Ain’t no monsters under my bed…

I got a big teddy bear on top

and everyone else he meets lol 😂

Leonbergers are a large breed
with huge hearts full of love!

Ewok always starts the day
looking out the window
listening intently to the birds sing

Mathieu claims the birds say
‘pretty 🎶 pretty 🎶 pretty’

and now I can’t I unhear that 🤣

What a magical way to wake up!

When you open your eyes
feel gratitude

When your babies or fur babies
jump on your bed
feel gratitude

When you hear the world outside singing with joy
feel gratitude

You choose how your day begins!

You choose how your nervous system feels
what messages your brain
will send to the rest of your body

I understand
you may have a lot going on right now
and I send you my love

but you do still hold the power

Someone at Isaiah’s school today said
‘You’re mom can’t say no’

You’re right!

I have learned
that time
is the most valuable gift we have 💗

I cherish it

I don’t take it for granted

When my 13 year old son
texts or calls
asking to be picked up
from school
to go out for lunch
I am there!

We don’t know
what today will bring

We don’t know
what tomorrow holds

I do know
that I am proud
to be known
to not say no

that I want to spend
as much time
with the people I love
as I can 💗

When I am gone
if I am remembered as someone
who reliably made my kids feel
that I enjoyed being with them

that I made them feel in my presence
seen, heard and loved

then I will have fulfilled
my greatest purpose 💗

when friends
become
like family ♥️

When we were shopping in the Dollarama
Summer and I spotted this sign
that says ‘Don’t forget’
with a clip to hang notes

We immediately
thought back to a few days before
when we were driving with Jaymie
telling her
to never forget

‘Jaymie is smart

Jaymie is strong

Jaymie is gorgeous

Jaymie is enough just the way she is

Jaymie is loved ♥️

These affirmations
are the bold statements
I have said to Isaiah, Gabriel and Summer
and they have repeated back to me
about themselves
for years

Summer wanted to surprise Jaymie
with a handwritten list
attached to the sign
of these uplifting phrases
to keep as a cherished reminder

I love it

Summer loves it

Jaymie was overwhelmed with joy
when she received it
she loved it

LET ME TELL YOU TODAY
