Thanksgiving is really just an excuse to eat too much, go back for seconds, and somehow still find room for dessert. And we fully support that!
This Thanksgiving, we’re especially grateful for our wonderful customers who continue to support our little European deli here in Edmonton. Whether you stop by for Hungarian sausage, fresh baked goods, or a taste of home, you’re the reason we love what we do.
From our Budapest Deli family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! May your plates be full, your pants be stretchy, and your leftovers last longer than a day.

Debreceni smokies don’t really have a season, and that might be one of our favourite things about them.

Throw them on the grill when the weather is nice, serve them with potatoes or sauerkraut when you want something hearty, slice them into soups and stews, or keep it simple with fresh bread, mustard, horseradish and something pickled on the side.

Basically, there are a lot of ways to eat Debreceni smokies and very few wrong answers.

Stop by Budapest Deli in Edmonton, grab some for your next meal and tell us how you eat yours.

There’s cutting into a poppy seed roll… and then there’s cutting into this poppy seed roll.
That swirl. That filling. That perfect slice.
