It's been a hot minute since we did a recap so here's what's been going on the past few weeks!🍂🌻🥧

1. Speaking of hot... Cowboy Cannolis Cowboy Cannolis™ stopped by the market for CFR weekend, which was awesome!

2. We had our final Bike Valet of the year! We are so pleased with how the season went, full recap coming soon!! Thank you Bike Edmonton volunteers! Bike Edmonton

3-5. Customers and vendors on Thanksgiving shopping for their dinners and spending time with our community!

6. Our fantastic group photo at the end of our October Indigenous Taste of the Market dinner with Chef Shane Shane Mederic Chartrand (PS. 3 seats left for November dinner, link in bio)

A warm see you around the market rows to Chef Shane Chartrand! ❤️

After two incredible years, Shane is moving on from Paperbirch by Chartrand, and we want to say a HUGE thank you for being such an iconic part of our market team every weekend.

From his incredible culinary talent to bringing Indigenous flavours and perspectives to the table, Shane has left his mark on our market community!

Don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye! You’ll still see Shane shopping the market and hosting our Indigenous Taste of the Market dinners (some tickets for November are still available)! He’ll also continue championing Old Strathcona Farmers' Market through his culinary adventures beyond the market. We can’t wait to see what you cook up next 🧡

We'll be set up at the front of the market with a halloween activity to get into the October spirit! Suggested for kiddos ages 3-12, complete the activity and receive $5 in Market Bud tokens to use at a vendors booth!
