We collect things.

Not just because they’re beautiful, but because they tell a story. A piece of local history, something handmade, something made with care, or simply something that makes you stop and look twice.

Our shelves are filled with little pieces of art, craft, and goods from makers who build our local history.

A little bit of everything, all in one place.

Come see what catches your eye at Timber and Tide General Store. Open daily 9 am - 7 pm in the heart of Maple Bay.

Thank you, Jason at Saigon Subs | Vietnamese Restaurant for our soup kits!

Nothing like a warm cuppa deli deli broth on a fall evening. Yum!

See you at the store! ❤️

We’ll be closed September 30 for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Timber and Tide General Store is located in the heart of Hwtl'upnets (Maple Bay), on ancestral indigenous, unceded and traditional territory of the Quw’utsun, Malahat, Ts’uubaa-asatx, Halalt, Penelakut, Stz’uminus, Lyackson, Pauquachin, Ditidaht & Pacheedaht Peoples.

As a small business in the beautiful Maple Bay community, we believe it’s important to make space to reflect, learn, listen, and remember. We honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never came home, their families and communities, and the ongoing work of reconciliation.

Our doors will be closed for the day, and we’ll be back open Thursday, October 1.
