Blue Goose Farm Blue Goose Farm is a small farm in Fort Erie supplying the community with fresh produce + provisions

Blue Goose Farm is a collaboration between Matty Matheson and Keenan McVey — two chefs from Toronto who were looking start a small farm that could grow the highest quality produce possible for local chefs as well as contribute to a regenerative system. They want to share their experiences with others to inspire them to live more sustainably with purposeful work and an enriched lifestyle connected with nature and great food.

A fine looking crop of Fioretto harvested this morning. Blanched for two weeks, super tender and made sweet from the colder mornings we’ve had. Enjoyed some with the staff, simply steamed for one minute then tossed with butter, mint and our house made green garlic vinegar.

The summer may be over, but the harvest never stops. The crew has worked tirelessly to make sure we are fully stocked with fall produce for the remainder of the season.

Harvest season is here, so come celebrate the beautiful bounty of fall with us on Saturday, October 24th in the backyard of our beloved farm shop in Ridgeway 🍂 The outdoor market runs until 1:30pm and our shop will be open regular hours until 4pm.

We will have a ton of seasonal vegetables and dried flowers from the farm, along with apple c***r and baked goods to enjoy while you shop around. Vendor details coming very soon !!
