Hi, I’m Amy, and welcome to The Big Little GardenšŸ‘‹

I’m a mom of three beautiful young children and the heart behind this little farm stand. What started as a love of gardening has grown into something much bigger—a place where I can share fresh, locally grown produce, beautiful bouquets, and connect with our wonderful community.
Flowers have always been a special passion of mine. There is something magical about watching a tiny seed grow into a stunning bloom, and I love creating bouquets that bring a little joy and beauty into people’s homes. Alongside flowers, I grow a variety of fresh produce that my family and I are proud to share with our neighbors.
The Big Little Garden was created not only to provide fresh, local products but also to build connections, support local food, and create a welcoming space for our community. Whether you’re stopping by for vegetables, flowers, or simply to say hello, I’m so grateful for your support.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to share this growing season with you!

This season is teaching me a lot, already. Between a sever injury to my ankle and an unexpected garden re-build I’ve come very close to just giving up on planting this season. I knew I’d regret it later in the season if I did. I had to learn to ask for help, lean on my rings of support, allow myself time to rest and heal, to be patient and to learn how to truly settle in the feeling that everything will work out the way it’s suppose to in its own time. Today I carefully maneuvered around my sore ankle and sat in the sun smiling as I planted out my snapdragons… knowing how much joy their blooms will bring. Grateful to get another season in this garden in a body that is intuitive enough to heal itself. I don’t know how the season is going to turn out honestly… but what I do know is I will be patient and trust it will all work out! šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Were getting excited over here to open the stand back up for the season. Behind the scenes we are sowing seeds, prepping beds, planting seedlings and dreaming of what’s to come.

When it comes to my business and my family, I take things seriously. Here are some of my house rules for a successful bake day šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ 1. I adore baking with my children but they aren’t allowed to help on bake days. In fact I’ve scheduled bake day for when they are out of the house enjoying other things. 2. INGREDIENTS!! They matter. I wouldn’t go through the effort just to use poor quality ingredients, dyes and processed oils. When ever possible I use organic + local ingredients like treasure life flour mills, swan valley honey and fruit grown right here at our home. 3. Since I bake in our home kitchen cleanliness is incredibly important to me. Actually I’m a bit of a neat freak. I do a deep clean BEFORE and AFTER each bake day. 4. Love you pup but you stay outside until everything is packaged. Don’t worry that’s where he likes to spend his time anyways. 5. As long as it’s available I’m only using brown parchment paper… there is no need for bleach! I hope you know the amount of love, time, dedication and care goes into everything I bake, grow, and harvest around here. It’s an absolute pleasure bringing a little of our home to your table. To the customers returning and new, my most heartfelt THANK YOU.
