Cornwall Kinsmen Farmers' Market

Cornwall Kinsmen Farmers' Market We are excited to be back this year 2025 for our 8th market season. Come see us at St. Lawrence College. We start Sunday, May 25 and run until Oct. 26 10am-2pm.

The Cornwall Kinsmen Farmers’ Market is located in the North parking lot at St. Lawrence College Cornwall. We are an all local, producer-only market. That means that everything for sale is grown or made by the people selling it, the majority being within SD&G. Come experience our fresh seasonal farmers market offering locally grown produce, fresh meats, homemade preserves, local beer and wine, bak

ed goods, and artisan vendors. We will also have special events, entertainment, food related demonstrations and children’s activities in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

IYKYK... 😁❤️

Chive blossoms are rich in vitamin K (for bones and blood clotting), vitamin A (cell growth), vitamin C & E (immune support), plus calcium, potassium, and antioxidants.

When you use chive blossom vinegar in salad dressings, marinades, or even a splash in your gin & tonic, you're getting:

- Anti-inflammatory benefits (thanks to allicin!)
- Antioxidant protection against harmful molecules
- Antimicrobial properties that may help fight bacteria like E. coli
- Digestion support that "warms things up"
- Brain-boosting folate and choline for memory

Plus it's low in calories but nutrient-dense! Perfect for grain bowls, potato salad, quick pickles, or drizzling on roasted veggies.

Making Chive Blossom Vinegar is super easy too!

Cut the blooms and soak in water to remove bugs and debris. Pat dry and pack the blossoms into a mason jar. Fill the jar with 5% white vinegar. Put the lid on (some people like to sandwich a piece of saran wrap between the jar and the lid to prevent the vinegar from touching the lid) and shake! Keep in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks. Then strain and voila! You have Chive Blossom Vinegar. Keep it stored in the fridge indefinitely.
