The Coquitlam Farmers Market started as a Community Economic Development project by SFU students in 1996, and has been creating a gathering place for the community and an outlet for crafters, bakers and farmers to sell their goods ever since. In 2005 we expanded into Port Moody and created the Port Moody Winter Farmers Market. This market is a fabulous place to find delicious local food, seasonal vegetables, and beautiful artisan crafts.

This busy pair run a farm in Maple Ridge, growing delicious root crops, greens and so much more. Between their farm, animals, their children and running two businesses they are busy! Winston's focus to detail is met by Kizzy's creative spirit, where you'll literally find her throwing flower seeds among the well organized rows of produce. Alongside their farm products Kizzy brings to market her gourmet french macarons.

There’s something special about family working together, and Abernethy Acres is bringing that family spirit to the market! 💚

This summer, Abernethy Acres has grown to include Fe and some of her wonderful produce, making it an even bigger family affair! 🌿 We love seeing family members come together, share their hard work, and grow something special side by side.

🎵 Musician Spotlight 🎵

Ally Jean is an aspiring performer that specializes in songwriting and singing indie folk song covers with her guitar and other instrumentals to back her up. She has loved music science as a kid starting her performing journey in musical theatre which she continues to enjoy to this day. She’s very involved with local and school choirs and music opportunities such as coastal sound youth choir and the BCMEA honour choir. She hopes to continue her music career in wonderful opportunities such as this one and she looks forward to showcasing her abilities.
