The Coquitlam Farmers Market started as a Community Economic Development project by SFU students in 1996, and has been creating a gathering place for the community and an outlet for crafters,

bakers and farmers to sell their goods ever since. In 2005 we expanded into Port Moody and created the Port Moody Winter Farmers Market. This market is a fabulous place to find delicious local food, seasonal vegetables, and beautiful artisan crafts.

🤩 Something new 🤩 is coming to Coquitlam this summer! Join us at the Coquitlam Summer Nights Farmers Market for a vibrant evening farmers market celebrating local food, artisans, music and community connection. Hosted with TriCity Pavilion.

Our first Summer Nights Market takes place Friday June 26 5pm to 9pm at 2968 Christmas Way, Coquitlam.

🎵 Musician Spotlight 🎵

Over the past decade and a half, glo in the darq (Gloria Wan, she/her) has been immersed in contemporary pop music creation and performance, alongside formal training as a conductor and classical vocalist. She is a core member of the JUNO-nominated vocal ensemble musica intima, bridging classical precision with modern pop sensibilities. In addition to being a singer and music educator, she is also a guitarist, drummer/percussionist, and beatboxer, with a particular love for crafting medleys of popular songs. You can usually find her picking up fresh goodies at farmer's markets (when she's not performing at them) on the weekends.

We are the Fraser Pacific Rose Society in Coquitlam and we maintain the Centennial Rose Garden at Dogwood Community Centre.

We also mentor members in rose growing, have monthly meetings, offer floral art classes and hold a yearly rose show.

Stop by the booth this Sunday to get information about our free Rose Show happening on June 20 and 21 this year and information about our society.

KICS was started over 25 years ago as a way to spend more time with my mum. We both love food and markets so it seemed like a natural fit!

KICS lemonade has all you need to elevate your beverages. Our homemade syrups are excellent for crafting all kind of beverages. We are most famous for our classic lemonade syrup. It is literally summer in a glass!

While KICS is best known for the lemonade syrup, I love to play around with different ideas and flavours. You never know what you will find when you come visit me!

Colours of Nature 🌈

We love to crunch and munch our vegetables here at POP Club, but did you know you can do more with your produce than just eat them? It’s true! You can make natural dyes from many household foods. In fact, most natural dyes are of plant origin & are created from the roots, wood, bark, berries, lichens, leaves, flowers, nuts, and seeds all around us. If you want to know the true colours of nature, look at what you eat. There’s a rainbow of colour in our vegetable gardens. This week we’re learning more about those natural dyes. Join us as POP Club experiments with colour through a fun art project.
