The Market by the Bow is CLOSED for the 2026 Season!
A huge & heartfelt thank-you to everyone that contributed to making our 28th outdoor season a success!

💚 Customers – Our thanks to our loyal customers that shop local week after week, supporting the many vendors that make, bake and grow the diverse selection of products available at the market. Each year we welcome an ever-increasing number of shoppers that choose to support the Cochrane Farmers’ Market.

💚 Vendors - We are fortunate to showcase an amazing community of over 140 vendors that offer a unique shopping experience every week. The vendors are truly the heart of our market – together we are building one of the finest markets in the region.

💚 Community - The Cochrane Farmers' Market is grateful for the support of SLS Centre in providing us with a home for a seventh season. Our spacious market allows us to host 70 vendors each week as well as provide us with space to welcome other Cochrane organizations to the market to share their initiatives with the larger community.

💚 Volunteers - Operated entirely by volunteers, our Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market is incredibly fortunate to have a small but mighty all-star team that organizes and operates the market. Our market sponsor, the Cochrane Environmental Action Committee, invests the funds raised at the market back into environmental initiatives in the community.

The Market by the Bow will open for our 29th season on June 5, 2027.

Emails are being received by vendors that claim to be from Cochrane Farmers' Market - we are aware of at least five different emails inviting vendors to attend our Christmas Market. THEY ARE SCAMS. DO NOT reply or click on the link for the online form - DO NOT send money for damage deposits - DO NOT send money for vendor fees.
Be VERY cautious, scammers are very active right now. If in doubt of any market-related email you receive that looks suspicious - always check with the market through their publicly posted contact information.
Vendor communication at the Cochrane Farmers' Market is only sent from our domain email address - NEVER a Gmail address that appears to look like it comes from our market.
There is only ONE person that will communicate with you at the Cochrane Market - only the Market Manager will be contacting you directly, there is no "team" distributing invites requesting your attendance at the Cochrane Christmas Farmers' Market.

The market season will soon come to an end – while the forecast this week is for a cooler day it's still a great time to make a visit. Many of the veggies and fruit you love will start to disappear from the tables with harvest coming to an end. It’s time to put up those last batches of pickles and preserves! You'll also want to catch your favourite vendors that may be visiting for the last time before the end of the summer season!

This week you can celebrate Cochrane Culture Days at the market – between 10am and 2pm market customers will be treated to musical, movement and dance performances in the market's Community Zone. And - right next door in the SLS Centre – you’ll experience CultureFest, 1-4:30pm featuring 25+ cultural booths, food, and live cultural entertainment. Free admission for both events.
