Hey everyone, our first deliveries were done yesterday and even though we got off to a late start I think things went pretty well. We’re super excited to start off the Subscription Season. We are still taking late signups for anyone interested. Even though we’ve faced many hurdles this spring im grateful that we’ve been able to pull through every obstacle in our way. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all of the support so far this year. It makes all of the effort we put in worth it.

We are closed until Thursday in order to get some much needed field tasks done after an intense 4 day harvest period. I’m happy to say I’m finally able to do my first round of maintenance on our hoophouse tomatoes! Plants have been in the ground for around 2 weeks and have put on significant growth. They will take off once all the suckers have been removed.

Hey everyone we’ve been busy getting ready for a new night market in Lasalle! We’ve also been harvesting for our very first CSA delivery tomorrow! The hard work is starting to pay off. The market runs from 4-8 and the farm stand will be open until 4. We have fresh salad, hakurai turnips, radishes, sweet potatoes, cooking onions, mushrooms, and fresh kale! We have our very first lettuce and radish harvests available along with white mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and bags of cooking onions. We still have a good variety of plants available but quantity is quickly dwindling! Hope to see you soon.

Finally some heat! Things are growing exponentially and it’s now the perfect time to do a pass for weeds. We’re also planting as usual. On the list for planting is pattypan and green zucchini, tomatoes, hakurai Turnips, carrots, green onions, salad mix, butter lettuce, and more in the nursery. We are closed until Thursday to work in the field but if you need to come out for bedding plants please send us a message so we can expect to see you. Radishes and salad mix this weekend! Countdown before the Vegetable Subscription Program begins now! Only 13 more days before our first deliveries go out. Members should expect to receive their first order form next week!

Open today for the holiday from 10-4! We still have everything available that we would normally have however quantities are limited! Stop by today to get all your bedding plants for upcoming planting projects! It was a great day yesterday as we finally got the greenhouse plastic up and tightened/ inflated. Today I’ll be working on planting tomatoes, zucchini, and much more before another more unsettled weather rolls in. Hope to see you soon!

Chatham Farmers Market, and we’re also open at the stand with a wide range of bedding plants available. We’re at the markets from 9-2 and the stand is open until 4. Hope to see you soon!
