🚨 PLEASE SLOW DOWN 🚨

On a normal day, our parking lot is already a busy place with customers visiting KJL Select Meats, Riverview Country Market, and Agro Co-Op—plus regular deliveries for all three businesses.

Things are about to get even busier 🚧
Agro Co-Op will be tearing down and replacing an auger, which means cranes, heavy equipment, and crew working on the ground.

👉 Important reminders:
• DO NOT enter from Exhibition Drive and drive through Agro Co-Op to access our lot
• Please enter and exit via Riverside Drive
• Watch for workers and equipment at all times

In about a month, Agro Co-Op will also be paving their lot, so these precautions will still apply.

🚧 Exhibition Drive will also be under construction—please plan accordingly!

Please slow down, stay alert, and help us keep everyone safe 💚

Soleil’s Spinach is BACK!!! 🌱✨

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our all-time favourite local farms — Soleil's Farm! Located in Bonshaw, they’re known for producing some of the highest quality greens on PEI. Using organic growing practices, they focus on building healthy soil to bring you incredibly fresh, flavourful produce.

🥬 The first batch of spinach arrives today around 4pm — and trust us, it’s the sweetest of the season!

🥗 Mixed greens are expected next Friday, May 8th, also around 4pm.

We’ll continue to receive fresh Soleil’s greens every Tuesday and Friday evening through our friends at Growers Station — so there’s always something fresh to look forward to!

One of my all-time favourite salads has to be Country Taste Kitchen and Bakery’s Dill Pickle Potato Salad 🥔✨ Made with PEI potatoes, eggs, dill pickles, and plenty of dill, all mixed in a creamy mayo dressing—it’s the perfect balance of tangy and comforting.

I might even have the recipe somewhere… but somehow it just never tastes quite as good as when the bakery makes it!

If you spot it in the shop, don’t hesitate—grab some while you can. We only get limited quantities and it’s not available year-round!
